Jess and Shawna chat with Mark Dredge, author of A Brief History of Lager, about Vietnamese lager and beer culture.
Mark collaborated with Lowercase Brewing to brew a Hanoi-inspired, low ABV, rice lager. We do a blind tasting of it, talk German lagers with an English accent, and the French colonization of Vietnam and how that led to lager brewing there.
